All about QT


In HP UFT 11.5, interesting to see a new Add-in call Qt. I am going to cover some insight into this Add-in.

As per http://qt-project.org/, Qt is a cross-platform application and UI framework for developers using C++ or QML, a CSS & JavaScript like language. Qt Creator is the supporting Qt IDE.

Over 450,000 developers in more than 70 industries have chosen Qt to build advanced applications and devices.



Qt Creator Overview is a cross-platform IDE (integrated development environment) tailored to the needs of Qt developers. It focuses on providing features that help new Qt users get up and running faster, and also boost the productivity of experienced Qt developers. It is part of the Nokia Qt SDK.

  1. Hi JAGAN,
    I'm working on QT based application, and i'm not able to identify any objects. its shows all controls as 'WinObjects' even selecting QT addin in UFT (QTP11.5)
    Is there any alternatives or settings for it?
    Please suggest

  3. I'm working on QT based application, and in my QT application we have plot area , when i left click on plot area it will display pop up menu and with some option .
    the quetion is before installing UFT , my QT application was working properly and it was displaying pop up menu and mouse left click was working properly , but after after installing UFT if i left click -> on plot area then the application is crashing..

    picker->setMousePattern(QwtEventPattern::MouseSelect1,Qt::LeftButton);

    is there any conflicts of Mouse left click conflict between QT and UFT ?
